Episode 25 – Dr. Stefanie Pettaway, Psy.D, MSW

Thank you for tuning into Phenomenal Woman Wednesday.  In this episode, I sit down to chat with licensed clinical psychologist Dr. Stefanie Pettaway.  Dr. Pettaway shares her definition of a phenomenal woman, the tools she recommends to manage difficult situations, her perspective on how to navigate COVID-19, and much more. 

Dr. Stefanie Lockhart-Pettaway is a Clinical Psychologist and owner of Empowered Living Psychological Services in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.  She has been in private practice for the past eight years working with adolescents and adults experiencing panic and anxiety, depression, phase of life challenges and transitions, identity and self-development, multicultural and diversity concerns, adjustment challenges, grief and relational challenges. She uses an integrative approach, ensuring interventions are client specific and culturally appropriate.  Dr. Lockhart-Pettaway completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D) degree at the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, Los Angeles and received her Master of Social Welfare (MSW) degree from University of California, Los Angeles.  She also has advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Cognitive Therapy & Training Center, San Diego, CA.  Dr. Lockhart-Pettaway’s experience consists of working with persons in community mental health settings, psychiatric hospitals, university counseling centers, and as adjunct faculty.   She has presented to several community organizations and group event participants on anxiety, depression, and self-care.  Dr. Lockhart-Pettaway is a member of several community service organizations. She has been married for 18 years and has three children.
